About the Project
Metrocare’s new Mental Health and Disability Innovation Center at Hillside opens this fall, expanding their capacity to serve by 23%.
As demand for mental health services reaches record levels, Metrocare—Dallas County’s largest behavioral health provider—continues to offer same-day psychiatric care to all, regardless of ability to pay. Last year, they served 51,000+ individuals, with 2,700+ clinical encounters per day.
The new campus is thoughtfully designed to promote healing through environment, featuring:
- Bright, open clinical spaces
- Outdoor therapy areas for children
- A tranquility garden & terrace
- Nature-filled views throughout
Key Facilities
- 45,000 sq. ft. Mental Health Clinic offering integrated care for children, adults, veterans, and individuals with disabilities
- 98,000 sq. ft. Client Services Building supporting research, training, and countywide operations
The youth clinic—one of the busiest in Dallas—currently serves 120 children daily and will relocate to the new campus upon completion.
